The WSOF team continually petitions funding requests for the St. John Medical Center GME programs. Our goal is to help provide the GME programs with the best equipment in our attempt to attract only the very best Residents. Your donations provide funding to purchase this equipment.
In 2018, the WSOF donated $50,000 for the purchase of two Point-of-Care Ultrasound devices to be used by the Residents.
We are educating Medical Residents, Registered Nurses and EMS staff with the highest level of ACLS training in the area. Thanks to your help, during 2023-2025, WSOF donated $100,000 to begin funding for the new Sim Lab at St. John Medical Center.
Scholarships
The West Shore Osteopathic Foundation gives an Annual Award to a High School student interested in pursuing a career in healthcare.
The West Shore Osteopathic Foundation also donates annually to the St. John Medical Center Nurse Excellence Education Fund.
Education
The West Shore Osteopathic Foundation is proud to support regional Continuing Medical Education seminars and provide ongoing support for the Graduate Medical Education program at St. John Medical Center in Westlake, Ohio.
